The effect of self-awareness skills training on the social adjustment and self-efficacy of the woman's national martial arts team

Abstract

The aim of this study was the effect of self-awareness skills training on social adjustment and self-efficacy of girl's national martial art team. This research is applied in terms of practical purpose, in terms of experimental method and in terms of field performance. The experimental method was with pre-test-post-test design and had a test and control group. The statistical population of the study consisted of all the woman's national martial art team. The statistical sample was selected as available and the sample size was 60 people. The statistical sample was divided into two groups of 30 experimental and control individuals. In addition to self-awareness skills training, Bellr's self-efficacy questionnaire and Bell's social adjustment were used to collect data. The results showed that the training of self-awareness skills) affects on social adjustment (p= 0.001, t= 3.468) and self-efficacy (p= 0.001, t= 0.876) of the girl's national martial art team. Training skills affect self-awareness, emotional and social components of adjustment but do not affect on components of adjustment at home, health and occupation. As a result, combatants will be able to use self-awareness skills effectively and efficiently to cope with difficult situations and problems caused by emotional and social adjustment.
